This image is part of Diane’s long-term ongoing project documenting diners in the Midwest. In this project, she seeks to capture the timeless quality of diners in America, which seem to serve as time capsules of decades past. This diner in particular is in the Logan Square neighborhood of Chicago. As with most of her work, this photograph was made using a Rolleiflex twin-lens reflex camera.
